Leva Bonaparte joinedSouthern Charm season 7 and revealed that her friendship with former star Cameran Eubanks became “awkward” since starring on the show. Cameran was an original cast member and narrator of Southern Charm since season 1. She was usually the voice of reason for castmates Shep Rose, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. While Cameran mainly stayed out of the drama, she inevitably got caught in the middle of formerSouthern Charm star Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis’ drama.
Thomas and Kathryn had a tumultuous relationship that led to a custody battle over their two children, Kensington and Saint. Cameran was a longtime friend of Thomas’ and often voiced her disdain for Kathryn. As revenge, Kathryn spread a rumor in theSouthern Charm season 6 premiere that Cameran’s husband, Jason Wimberly, was having an affair with a local makeup artist. The rumors proved to be unfounded, but following season 6, Cameran issued a statement to fans that she was leaving the show for good in order to protect her marriage.

Leva made several appearances over the years on Southern Charm as Cameran’s friend and joined as a full-time cast member for season 7. Unfortunately, her stint on Southern Charm caused a wedge between her and Cameran. Leva revealed on a recent Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast, “We had a really, a very, very tight bond for I think short of a decade.
