It’s been a busy week in the gaming industry, with big game releases, a new PS5 and, after months of to-ing and fro-ing, Microsoft finally completed their acquisition of Activision Blizzard to the tune of $68.7 billion!
Time will tell what this means for consumers, but right now let’s recap the last seven days:
There was quite a range in the review scores this week:
Meanwhile, resident Hawaii expert Tuffcub explored The Crew Motorfest’s representation of Oahu, but came away feeling the game was a poor representation of the island and culture. Continuing the racing theme, Stefan enjoyed Stampede: Racing Royale, which is sort of like Mario Kart but with 60-players!
Rounding the week out, as always, was What We Played, which featured Cocoon, AC Mirage & Star Trek: Infinite.
House Flipper 2 will have a Sandbox mode
Last Train Home launches November 28th, demo available
Windjammers 2 update adds new characters, modes and cross-play
I hope you have a good weekend and I’ll see you again next time!
