This competitive multiplayer game draws big audiences at Esports events, creating a very chaotic and fun atmosphere for fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Since its start in 2008, Video Game Boot Camp’s (VGBootCamps) Twitch channel has hosted a multitude of live stream tournaments specifically for Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is undeniably one of Esports big draws for competitive tournaments, and with constant extra content like DLC characters releasing for Super Smash Bros, it's no wonder fans keep coming back to watch and play.

The VGBootCamp matchup between players Maistr and Onin began with Maistr using Sora and Onin as Steve. The match ends fairly quickly with Steve taking the win against Sora. The crowd is seen both cheering and booing. Maistr then changes their character to Game and Watch for the second match, but loses once again to the so-far unbeatable Steve and their combos.

Maistr switches back to Sora for the third match. This was the most intense match yet thanks to player Maistr winning the round with Sora, seeming to have exploited a weakness in Steve’s defenses. The score count was 2 Odin against 1 Maistr. However, in the player’s celebration with the crowd, the production team at VGBootCamps appears to have forgotten that the match was still ongoing and prematurely released the confetti that was supposed to signify the final win. The commentators are heard calling for the production team as they tease to «put it back,» but as production realized it was too late, they then
