Slitterhead is the next game coming from Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of Silent Hill, Siren and Gravity Rush, and his first project since departing Sony Japan Studio in late 2020.
Looking like a wild action horror game with creepy monsters morphing out of human forms and into creepy and otherworldly shapes. Expect melee combat, perhaps teleporting between bodies, and more weirdness. Alas, we know very little about the game at this time, but the trailer looks like a good bit of fun, doesn’t it? There’s definitely a spot of The Thing to the unsettling transformations.
The game is in development at Bokeh Game Studio, which Toyama founded alongside fellow Siren developers Kazunobu Sato and Junya Okura. The game also has a soundtrack composed by Akira Yamaoka.
The game is set to release on November 8th 2024 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms.
