Originally released in 2011, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was re-released several times on multiple video game consoles. The final version was the Skyrim: Anniversary Edition, which came out in 2021. Before this, however, Bethesda released a version that brought the game to VR.
Released in 2018, Skyrim VR brought a new level of immersion to theElder Scrolls game. Some joys in the new mode come in the form of being able to slap a sign in Skyrimwhile others were more involved. Modders have since gone to work on the mode and have added a number of new features. One mod, in particular, helps players take down one rather annoying thief.

In a recent post, Reddit user Kooky-Ad-2960 posted a video where they encountered a character known as Arvel the Swift. Arvel is stuck in spider webs in the game and the player needs to free them in order to continue the quest. Spiders are an incredibly common enemy in video games, but the Skyrim spiders have often been listed as some of the most terrifying. After the NPC is freed he attempts to flee with a treasure on him, and Kooky-Ad-2960 kills him instantly by shooting him in the back. The caption for the video declares that Arvel the Swift wasn't swift enough.
Arvel the Swift only appears in one quest in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim called The Golden Claw. While the quest isn't one of the better side-quests, one fan liked the quest enough to make a real-life version of the Skyrim Golden Claw. The quest starts in the Riverwood Trader where an NPC mentioned that The Golden Claw was stolen by bandits along with a number of other goods.
