Now with the ability to interact with the game’s world in an almost true-to-life manner, fans have discovered entirely new ways to experience Skyrim and tell unique stories with their fantasy characters, all thanks to the game's new VR tools.

One such story comes from Reddit user Kooky-Ad-2960 who stumbled upon a cat in the middle of a road while exploring Skyrim in virtual reality. The adventurer takes it upon themselves to pick up this feline friend, and the two set off on a journey to the top of a mountain. Amusingly enough, Kooky-Ad-2960 carried the cat the whole time. After a short montage through various locations in Skyrim, the pair find themselves at the bottom of the Seven Thousand Steps leading to the peak of The Throat of the World. The duo successfully defeats the mountain’s most menacing frost troll, then proceed to find a cliff at the mountain top, enjoy a drink together, and take in the sights of Skyrim.
