Fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been left baffled after one player discovered the infamously annoying NPC Nazeem had died for no apparent reason. Skyrim'smany hilarious glitches and oddities have kept players entertained for over a decade now, with NPCs bearing the brunt of quirky animation bugs and other miscellaneous issues.
Nazeem is one of those NPCs that players love to hate. A familiar face to all Skyrim players, he is usually encountered early on in the game when the Dragonborn first enters Whiterun on their way to see Jarl Balgruuf. The Redguard can typically be found wandering the marketplace, inspecting the wares while treating his fellow patrons with derision. The Dragonborn is no exception to this, with Nazeem looking down on them for their perceived class difference. This attitude has led to many players labeling him one of Skyrim's worst NPCs and attempting to kill him as a result.

It isn't uncommon for a playthrough of Skyrim to see Nazeem die at some point. However, as reported by Game Rant, Reddit user jomarii has encountered an unusual twist on this otherwise common story. Having reached level 45 without ever catching sight of Nazeem, they decided to investigate. With no sign of the Redguard in Whiterun, they checked an out-of-bounds area that stores the bodies of unique NPCs. Sure enough, Nazeem's lifeless body was found inside the cell-like room. While baffled by this turn of events, jomarii was not upset by the death itself. In fact, they lamented the fact that they had lost the chance to kill Skyrim's annoying NPC themselves.
