The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has pretty much been consistently popular ever since it was released back in 2011. As one of the most immersive open world games around, it draws fans in with its impressive visuals, stunning vistas from atop mountains, and its vast landscape ripe for exploration. As well as being a thoroughly enjoyable RPG, it has inspired people to let loose their artistic prowess, and this one person has recreated a very important aspect of the title.
Reddit user seuqaj114 has posted a drawing they say their girlfriend has created. The image depicts the map of Skyrim, which has been drawn using a pen and some colored pencils. The end result is a pretty incredible, yet wholly faithful, piece of artwork that encapsulates the realm that the game takes place in. They've even drawn all the symbols that represent the towns and cities, included a compass, and they've outlined the regions that exist on the outside of this Elder Scrolls game, such as the areas of Morrowind and Cyrodiil.

Maps in The Elder Scrolls games are an important part of exploration, and also contribute to the lore. Seeing the entire continent of Tamriel puts the releases into some perspective, showing where each story in the main entries takes place, as well as giving some sense of scale. The fact that fans are so interested in redrawing them shows that they're more than just a way of helping players get around the world. They are a distinctive element to the entire series, as well as being rather pleasing to the eye for many.
