A new clip involving The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim reminds gamers everywhere that the best way to play it is in VR with mods. Specifically, it allows one to take on a bear in the most unexpected way possible.
One of the last versions of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim to be released was the VR edition. Released in November of 2017, the VR version allowed first-person players to fully immerse themselves in the game. The combination of mods and VR, however, has given gamers some truly memorable experiences.

Since The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim hit shelves and digital storefronts, modders have put their talents to work on either improving the game or making it absolutely bonkers. One mod, in particular, shows simple fantasy come to life. The mod in question was released in April and allows players to pet animals in Skyrim, something missing from the original version. Thanks to this mod and the VR headset a gamer known as Orbitgum was able to fulfill their fantasy of petting a giant bear while it slept.
Mods that allow this to happen are not uncommon within the Skyrim community. A recent addition to these mods includes a multiplayer version of Skyrim, allowing the Dragonborn to fight side by side with others. Sometimes, however, the simple pleasures of petting a deadly animal in a video game can be the most potent wish-fulfillment fantasy of them all.
Whether the VR version of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is the best version of the game is subjective as VR versions of any game have a lot of limitations.
