Some of the claims indicate the publisher intends to publish a full-blown remake, while others allege that a remaster or remake of an existing entry will eventually see the light of day.
Industry insider AestheticGamer sparked the latest rumors after sharing images derived from a supposedly new Silent Hill game. The pictures' quick removal due to copyright claims seems to give some credence to their legitimacy. However, nothing concrete links the images to the Konami series as of yet. If there is some truth to the rumor, another recent report implies Konami has multiple Silent Hill-branded projects in the works.

Over the weekend, another industry insider - NateTheHate2 — shared details about a Silent Hill 2 remake allegedly in development at Bloober Team. The remade sequel will feature redesigned puzzles and new endings, Nate claimed, before noting that it could also launch as a timed exclusive on PlayStation consoles. Interestingly, the insider also echoed the long-running rumor that Konami plans to publish several Silent Hill titles in the coming years, including the remake, a brand-new installment, and "side stories."
