During the May 30 PlayStation State of Play, a new gameplay trailer confirmed that Bloober Team's remake of Team Silent's beloved psychological horror title would be released on October 8, 2024, on PS5 and Steam, finally narrowing down the once-vague 2024 release window and arriving just in time for Halloween. A further, uninterrupted gameplay sequence from the game was then shown at the Transmission showcase that followed Sony's stream.
The Transmission addressed several projects, such as the upcoming movie which will also follow the plot ofwith Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson bringing James Sunderland and his beloved Mary — as well as her mysterious doppelganger, Maria — to life with director Christophe Gans at the helm.
