In less than a full week since the official launch, Sifu has garnered over 500,000 players across PC, PS4, and PS5. There’s little doubt that Sony pushing this indie game has helped it quite a bit, but what keeps fans is the core content of the game. Another important aspect, at least in the PC community, is the ability to mod the game.
With its martial arts premise,Sifu has a lot of room for unique mods outside the standard Thomas the Train, Shrek, and CJ from Grand Theft Auto shenanigans that happen with every game. For example, a John Wick mod was recently released that fits perfectly into the world of Sifu, and now two other mods are making waves for fitting into the world flawlessly too.
Daredevil is Leaving Netflix (Alongside the Other Marvel Shows)
Discovered by TheGamer, Modder Sirgalahad172 has made a mod based on Netflix’s Daredevil, while another, Claymaver, has added Scooby Doo’s Shaggy Rogers to the game. The former is shown off in the video below by Sirgalahad172, during the rain fight sequence in Sifu’s third level, The Museum.
Not only do the moves fit well, if not exactly, into Daredevil’s particularly fighting style (omitting some of the most generalized boxing skills), but the rain and dodge all fit well into his character. Plus, given Daredevil’s popular hallway scene and the focus on a few hallway fights in Sifu, it’s pretty much a given mod for the game.
