Supplies for the Xbox Series X in the US have improved to the point that the console has been consistently in stock at Walmart.com. And more importantly, the sales have been open to anyone at the normal $499 retail price.

Xbox Series X for $499.99
That’s a stark change from only months ago when the console was consistently out of stock across all the major retailers. To own one immediately, you’d have to buy from third-party resellers, who were offering the Xbox Series X at inflated prices at around $700.
Walmart was also usually selling the console behind the retailer’s membership payment wall. This meant interested buyers had to first subscribe to the Walmart+ perks program, which costs $12.95 per month, for a chance to buy the Xbox Series X.
Things seem to have now changed at Walmart. Last Thursday, the retailer held another restock on the Xbox Series X — except this time the sale was open to all interested customers, no Walmart+ membership required. In addition, the product remained in stock for hours when usually the supplies are gone in minutes.
Since then, the product has continued to be in stock at Walmart.com, making it easy to buy. If you purchase one today, you can expect the shipment to arrive next Thursday, March 31.
