We are just a few weeks away from the launch of iOS 16 and reports and leaks on the expected upgrades and features are already making their way to the internet. These reports indicate what iOS 16 could bring to the table. The Cupertino based tech giant will announce the iOS 16 at WWDC 2022. Since every iOS release has brought a major feature to the table, iOS 16 too is expected to bring some major updates and features. However, there is also much speculation that the upcoming iOS update will not support some older iPhone models. The iPhones that will likely not be supported by iOS 16 are iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE.
Every iOS release comes with a major feature upgrade and a bunch of minor improvements across the board. Apple tries to support almost all iPhone models in every new iOS release but there are a few older models that are not on the list. For example, iOS 15 support was there till iPhone 6S, which was released in 2015. However, this time it is speculated that iPhone 6S iPhone 6S Plus and original iPhone SE won't get iOS 16. According to early leak, iOS 16 support will be rolled out from the iPhone 7 onwards but you will miss out on some big feature that Apple will bring to iOS16 due to the hardware limitations of the camera, or the chip inside certain iPhone models.
