FuRyu’s compelling Shibuya-set action RPG outing REYNATIS has attracted a lot of interest since being announced for the PS5 and PS4 in Japan last week, but many were waiting on confirmation of a Western release. Following this week’s full-length trailer, that’s now come courtesy of NIS America, who’s signed on as publisher in North America and Europe.
There’s no specific date just yet, but the firm says the title will feature Japanese language audio and English text when it arrives on these shores, and it’s also adding a PC version. The adventure – helmed by a number of high-profile Square Enix alumni – will launch in Japan on 25th July, so you’ll be waiting a little while for localised edition.
“Seeking freedom through strength, the wizard Marin heads to Shibuya, where he meets Sari, an officer of the MEA, an organization dedicated to keeping wizards under control,” the blurb teases. “Conceal your magic to explore the city as a regular civilian and shop or take on quests, or use your explosive powers to reach new locations and battle those who stand in your way.”

I'm intrigued, but the graphics straight up look like a PS3 remaster of a PS2 game ported to PS4 that's playable on PS5. Maybe it's my phone.

Not for me personally. Not talking about graphics btw. Just genuinely doesn't look interesting at all. The animation work during combat is stiff as hell.
