Mayim Bialik's Amy return on Young Sheldon seemingly reveals that she and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) have more kids. After Simon Helberg reprised Howard earlier in season 5, The Big Bang Theory spin-off brings back Sheldon's wife. It's a brief voice cameo, but it may have inadvertently confirmed that Leonard Cooper is no longer an only child.
When it was announced that The Big Bang Theory was ending with season 12, many fans were both shocked and disappointed. At that point, the sitcom was still very popular that CBS was even considering ordering at least two more years. However, Parsons' plan to leave motivated everyone to unanimously decide to wrap it up altogether. Since then, some viewers of the original sitcom have relied on its spin-off for any new updates about their favorite characters. In return, Young Sheldon has tried to occasionally bring in members of the Pasadena gang for a fun cameo. Bialik's Amy has the most appearances thus far, after her latest involvement following her initial one in Young Sheldon season 4 premiere where it was revealed that she and Sheldon share a son.

Now, it seems like the Coopers have expanded their family. During Young Sheldon season 5, episode 16, «A Suitcase Full of Cash and a Yellow Clown Car,» voice-over intro, the couple talks about certain things that affect a relationship, including money. Sheldon then goes on a rant about how Amy took away his comic book allowance because they need to save for their children's college fund. This might come as a surprise since there hasn't been any word about the pair having more kids other than Leonard
