Office employees take on an experimental and potentially disturbing opportunity in the trailer for workplace thriller Severance. The series follows Adam Scott's character Mark Scout, who leads a team of adapted workers who have had their work and personal lives surgically separated. Severance boasts an impressive cast, includingScott and Academy Award winners Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette. The thriller is also the latest directorial work for legendary actor, comedian, and filmmaker, Ben Stiller.

Shared on the Apple TV YouTube channel, the latest trailer for Severance hints that the work completed by the employees of Lumon Industries might be more mysterious than Mark knows. In the trailer, Mark agrees to the operation to improve his work-life balance before joining his fellow augmented workers in a creepy, minimalistic office space. The trailer takes an even darker turn when Mark's former work friend hunts him down outside of the office, with Mark having no recollection of the person sitting in front of him. Things fall apart even more toward the end of the trailer, as both Scott and Britt Lower's characters are shown on the run through the mysterious offices. Check out the trailer below:
