The webmaster behind the Pokémon fan website Serebii is getting married, and he recently unveiled a beautiful wedding cake modeled after the dessert-themed Pokémon Alcremie. This sweet Fairy-type Pokémon was first introduced in 2019’s Pokémon Sword and Shield, where it evolved from Milcery after a long and difficult process requiring its trainer to give it a Sweet and strike a pose at a certain time of day. Depending on the hour and how long the Trainer spins around before striking the pose, the resulting Alcremie can take on one of nine different variants, and it also has a Gigantimax form that can be unleashed for a boost in status during battle.
The long and complicated process behind obtaining an Alcremie is just one of the many topics available for players to read about on Serebii, which serves as an online index for the various Pokémon games, shows, movies, and events. Additionally, Serebii is known to post leaks and announcements about future Pokémon games like November’s Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, such as the names for the upcoming games’ new starter Pokémon trio, as they are unveiled. Thanks to this love of Pokémon, when Serebii webmaster Joe Merrick and Serebii team member Marti Bennet decided to get married, the happy couple chose to model their wedding cake after an appropriate member of the ever-growing Pokémon roster.
