Scorn Gameplay Trailer Is The Most Violent FPS Since DOOM Eternal
A new trailer for the upcoming horror first-person shooter Scorn was shown during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 event, revealing some incredibly violent gameplay footage that may rival DOOM Eternal. Scorn is set to launch around Halloween 2022 and the footage released so far means that it will be a perfect game for the season.
The most striking aspect of Scorn is its incredible visual design, with characters and stages that are inspired by artists like H. R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński. The player is lost in an alien world, which is home to all kinds of monsters that want to tear them apart. The world of Scorn uses biotechnology, which means the player will have to connect their body to the weapons available to them, as well as hook themselves up to all manner of unknowable machines, in order to progress through the game world.

The Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 event featured new gameplay footage for Scorn, ahead of its October launch. The trailer features a lot of body horror, with a type of violence that is more disturbing than the action-focused bloodshed of the modern DOOM games.
