Mining facilities on Mars always seem to go wrong in video games. And that's definitely the case with Fort Solis, an upcoming sci-fi thriller starring Troy Baker, Red Dead Redemption 2's Roger Clark, and Julia Brown (who's appeared in The Last Kingdom and The Alienist).
In fact, Baker revealed that Fort Solis will launch August 22 on Twitter. The debut game from Fallen Leaf was originally revealed at Summer Game Fest 2022, where space seemed like the unofficial theme of the show.

Now Playing: WELCOME TO FORT SOLIS — GAMEPLAY TRAILER — PC PS5 MAC
Described as a «short and intense game experience,» Fort Solis also got a new gameplay trailer showcasing Jack (portrayed by Clark) exploring the titular mining base. It's clear quickly that things aren't quite right at the Mars location.
When Fort Solis was unveiled last year, Baker said his character, Wyatt Taylor, would be at odds with Roger's Jack at times in the game. This tension and the story in general will be broken up into four chapters, according to the title's Steam page.
Fallen Leaf, which created the game with Unreal Engine 5, says the Fort Solis base includes a «variety of locations each with their own surface and subsurface levels.» The trailer teases a storm brewing outside the facility and some creepy red-tinted interiors.
Fort Solis will launch on PC and PS5.
