Samsung is reportedly working on three folding smartphones, all of which could make an appearance at the company's next Unpacked event later this year. Samsung's current foldable lineup includes the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, both of which were released last year. Consumers responded to both devices well, and the company is already expected to launch their successors this year. However, the latest report now suggests that Samsung might throw a third folding device into the mix.
Folding smartphones have remained a niche, even though other companies like Motorola and Huawei have also launched such devices in recent years. Samsung's first-ever folding smartphone was the Galaxy Fold, which was released back in 2019. While that device was criticized for its poor durability, the quality of the company's foldables has gotten better since then. Over the next couple of years, the company has launched multiple successors to the Galaxy Fold, as well as introduced a new Z Flip line that brings back the old clam-shell form factor.

According to a new report from Dutch tech blog GalaxyClub, Samsung might unveil not two but three foldable smartphones this year. However, not much is known about any of the three devices thus far, apart from their codenames — B4, Q4 and N4. The Q4 codename most likely correlates to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, given that the Z Fold 3 came with the codename Q3. As for the B4, the blog speculates that it will most likely be the Z Flip 4, as the Flip 3 was designated 'Bloom' within Samsung. The N4, however, remains a mystery, with no way to tell whether it will have a brand new form factor.
