While Apple and Google are busy launching premium smartphones, Samsung is making sure to cater budget buyers too with its low-end smartphones. A few months back, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A04 in the budget segment. Following that, the company had introduced another member of this Galaxy A-series in early October, called Samsung Galaxy A04s. Now, Samsung has silently unveiled the new budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy A04e. Here is what the new Samsung budget smartphone has to offer.
The Samsung Galaxy A04e specs have been confirmed by the company's portal. The phone has a 6.5-inches HD+ PLS LCD panel and weigh 188g. For photography, it brings a 13MP primary rear camera coupled with a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, while in the front, it will feature a 5MP selfie shooter with a f/2.2 aperture. All of it is expected to be powered by an octa-core CPU with an unknown chipset, which is rumored to be MediaTek Helio G35 supported with a 3GB or 4GB of RAM and storage options up to 128GB.
It will also have LTE support and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi option. For power, it will pack a 5000mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy A04e runs on Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 on top. It will be available in three color options: black, light blue, and copper.
In the whole Galaxy A04 series, the newest A04e has a lower-resolution camera in comparison to the Galaxy A04. It also has a lower refresh rate display and one less camera sensor, as the Galaxy A04e misses out on a macro shooter. This indicates a cheaper price than Galaxy A04, which itself comes at a starting price of Rs. 10990.
