The upcoming hack-and-slash spinoff Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is revealing its characters bit by bit, releasing one trailer per Friday for each of the three factions first introduced in 2019 main series title Fire Emblem: Three Houses. These trailers show off each character's new design as well as a small clip of them in battle, allowing fans to theorize about their play style and class options. While these trailers so far have revealed a number of Three Houses mechanics returning for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, the latest offers hints that certain weapons may in fact not be coming back.
The trailer showcased the members of the Black Eagles house, representing the Adrestian Empire and led by Edelgard, their future Emperor. Previously, only Edelgard and her retainer Hubert had shown up in preview materials, making this the first look fans got at the other six house members. The Black Eagles trailer showed characters fighting with a variety of iconic series weapons, including swords, axes, lances, and bows. However, some characters were missing Sacred Weapons, holy artifacts from the Saints of old that could be discovered throughout Three Houses.
