Rumor: Nvidia Lovelace GPUs Could Be Huge in Size, Taking Up 4.5 Slots
As the next generation of graphics cards looms ahead, perhaps just weeks away from being officially unveiled, rumor mills will continue to spew out a multitude of speculations on what AMD and Nvidia will be offering up this year. With AMD's Navi 31 possibly having a bigger memory bus than previously thought, and various numbers being banded around about the TDP of team green's flagship GPU, it can be difficult to filter through what's true and what's just hearsay. With that, there has been talk about Jensen Huang and co's Ada Lovelace range, specifically how big it could potentially be.
According to a recent video from the Moore's Law Is Dead YouTube channel, Nvidia could unleash a next-gen graphics card which could be quite sizable, more so than the recent Ampere offerings. It's been suggested that the next RTX range, most likely the 4090 Ti, could take up to 4.5 slows in a user's PC. It's possible that this could even become the standard as the new generation comes to fruition. The sources on the video even state that these cards will be «monsters,» with the host adding that another source says the 4090 Ti could be around $2,000.
