Since it first launched back in December, Halo Infinite has gained a significant amount of popularity. While the game already has a decent amount of content for players to enjoy, many fans of Halo Infinite have been wondering when more content will become available. Now, it seems, a litany of new maps for Halo Infinite's multiplayer are currently in development.
A commonality that has been shared across practically every Halo installment is the large variety of multiplayer maps for players to choose from. In fact, the visual and level design of a number of these maps has managed to persist since the series began. Take, for instance, Blood Gulch, which made its first appearance in Halo: Combat Evolved, is a map that stood out to many players and has been actively requested for Halo Infinite.

Over on Twitter, HaloHub, an account dedicated to Halo news and rumors, stated that there are at least ten new maps for Halo Infinite that are in various stages of development. While 343 Industries has not officially confirmed anything, HaloHub reinforced its claim by saying that before the launch of the multiplayer beta for Halo Infinite, data miners found over twenty maps for Halo Infinite.
Although fans won't know for sure until 343 Industries or Xbox release some sort of update, it makes sense for there to be a number of maps in development. Considering how the majority of new content for Halo Infinite's battle pass has been presented as seasonal, it's likely that new maps will release at an equally gradual pace.
