Tango Gameworks has exclusively worked in the horror genre since its inception, launching survival-horror games The Evil Within and its sequel in 2014 and 2017, respectively. Tango's next game is Ghostwire: Tokyo, which is not a full-blown horror title but will still dabble in horror elements. And while horror fans have no idea for sure when they'll get to play it, a recent leak may have let the cat out of the bag.
As spotted by MP1st, the PlayStation Store itself has seemingly leaked the Ghostwire: Tokyo release date. Assuming the leak is accurate, it would seem that the wait for fans to play Tango's next game is nearly at an end, as the PlayStation Store claims that Ghostwire: Tokyo is set to launch on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Neither Sony nor Bethesda have said anything about the leak, so fans should take it with a grain of salt for now.

Updates on Ghostwire: Tokyo have been relatively few and far between since the game's initial announcement, but there is evidence to suggest that the release date could be accurate. In December, Ghostwire: Tokyo was rated in Brazil, and then it received its Korean rating earlier this month. Generally speaking, ratings boards don't issue ratings for games until they're relatively close to release, so it's entirely possible that the leaked Ghostwire: Tokyo release date is accurate.
Then again, it's possible that it's just a placeholder date and fans will have to wait until later in the year to play the game. That seems unlikely, though. As one may recall, Ghostwire: Tokyo was originally supposed to launch in 2021 before its release date was pushed back to 2022, and since the game was already supposed to be out by now, the leaked March 24 release
