Her official art has confirmed that she will be a new Electro sword character. The leaker claims that she will take the role of a healer in a team composition. When it comes to her rarity, she is expected to be a new four-star character.

Kuki Shinobu will be released alongside a new limited five-star character named Yelan, who is expected to be a Hydro vision holder. Multiple leaks have confirmed that Yelan will arrive in the first banner, and Kuki will be obtainable in the second banner cycle. According to Hoyoverse's usual update schedule, the first banner should arrive around May 15, which means that Kuki could arrive around June 7.
