The first wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Booster Course Pass was released on March 18 and will have waves of tracks dropping until the end of 2023. Each wave includes different tracks from all of the past Mario Kart games, and in total there will be 48 new tracks for players to enjoy.
The tracks that have been released in the newest wave are receiving mixed reviews, as many of the courses do not include the new features that were seen in the base game. There is a lack of anti-gravity feature in the remastered tracks, and fans were hopeful that the courses would have been remastered to fit in more easily with the new gameplay style. Regardless, this did not stop fans from enjoying the new tracks and remembering their time spent on the original versions of the game.
