All Elite Wrestling, or AEW, had its first show back in 2019. While the company is still considered young by many fans, it is beginning to put out more and more content besides wrestling shows. Already, a mobile game entitled AEW: Elite General Manager has been released, and now the promotion is working on a console wrestling title known as AEW Fight Forever. The game was first unveiled back in 2020 with a short gameplay demo. Since then, details on AEW Fight Forever have been showing up sporadically, but it appears to many that the game is still a work in progress.
The title for AEW Fight Forever was only confirmed in April this year, for example. However, despite rumors of a turbulent development, it seems that both developer Yuke's and AEW Fight Forever's publisher THQ Nordic is planning to release the game some time in 2022. Also, it seems that the title could be coming to Switch, according to a recent Amazon UK listing. The site recently opened preorders for AEW Fight Forever, and the listing show the game as being available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.

This marks a contrast from when AEW Fight Forever was discussed with publisher THQ Nordic, as the Switch was notably absent from the list of consoles that the game was intended to be released on. Of course, an Amazon listing isn't official confirmation of the game coming to Nintendo Switch, and there are a few peculiarities with the information as well. The Xbox One isn't listed among the consoles that AEW Fight Forever will be available on, for example.
