Rob Schroeder is the producer and director of Ultrasound, a mind-bending psychological thriller based on the comic book Generous Bosom by Conor Stechschulte. The film follows Glen (Vincent Kartheiser) as he forges an increasingly complicated relationship with Cyndi (Chelsea Lopez). As the layers of the film are peeled back, an increasingly terrifying story is revealed that tackles the illusion of choice, free will, government conspiracy, and more.
Ultrasound is Schroeder's feature directorial debut. The film also stars Breeda Wool, Tunde Adebimpe, and Bob Stephenson.

Screen Rant sat down with Schroeder to discuss adapting the comic book, how he came across the source material, and how the film came together to tell a horrifyingly modern tale.
Screen Rant: This is your first major feature film. What was that transition like, from shorts and television to creating this world?
Rob Schroeder: It was a very positive experience. I knew that it was going to be a challenge because we didn't have a lot of time and I tried to prioritize having as much time on set as possible. That turned out to be 19 days, over a month. So we did five-day weeks, which seemed like a good decision because we all needed a couple of days to recover each week. I learned a lot every day and stayed very positive and felt like we had good energy and kind of good morale. So it was a really great experience.
You came across Connor's graphic novel and approached him if I'm not mistaken. What was it that drew you to this story?
Rob Schroeder: It's interesting. It was told in four books so the first one came out, I read it, then about a year passed before the second. The
