RGG Summit 2024 Will Give Us the Latest from the Like a Dragon Team in September | Push Square

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the development team behind the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, has announced the date and time for its next RGG Summit. These broadcasts come along whenever the studio has some news to share, and the next one will be going live in a matter of weeks.

RGG Summit 2024 takes place on 20th September 2024, airing at 7pm JST — that's 3am PDT / 6am EDT / 11am BST.

Exactly what this presentation will feature is unknown at this point. Earlier this year, RGG Studio launched Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Yakuza Kiwami has just been announced for Switch. Beyond that, we know that an Amazon Prime original series based on the games is due to arrive in October. This is purely speculative, but we could imagine some sort of update or DLC for Infinite Wealth, and another trailer for the TV show.

There is also the matter of something dubbed Yakuza Wars, a title that was trademarked by SEGA earlier this year. It may be that the game is unveiled during this RGG Summit, though it's still unclear exactly what it'll be.
