As far as Resident Evil games go, the original third title from 1999 largely counts as one of the classic entries in the series, being the last installment to feature the traditional fixed camera perspective and tank controls. It also brought with it the Nemesis tyrant, arguably one of the most powerful bosses in any Resident Evil game. The official remake from 2020 made sure to include this iconic monster, making him a central and formidable foe for Jill. However, in order to take some of the horror aspects away, someone has decided to replace him with a cute animal.
Uploading the file to Nexus Mods recently, user Supreme Leader has created «Panda Nemesis,» which, if the name doesn't quite give it away, turns the Resident Evil 3 remake monster into a giant panda. In fact, not only does it change the Nemesis model into the cute animal, but it does so as well for Jill, with one image showing the two bears facing off against each other. Unfortunately, it doesn't show what happens later on when Nemesis morphs into his gigantic amorphous form.

In both the original and the remake, Nemesis is certainly an iconic Resident Evil villain, stalking the S.T.A.R.S team throughout the game and being almost indestructible. Whether or not Supreme Leader's mod makes him cuddlier or easier to deal with cannot be said, but it appears as though it is literally just a model swap, so it's likely that Panda Nemesis will still be as deadly as ever.
