It is raining Redmi Note 11 these days. The Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S are the latest additions in the lineup, and two more are coming from the Pro lineup soon. Xiaomi, however, isn’t done yet and has now come up with another Note 11 series device in China. The company launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China as the Redmi Note 11E Pro, with the same Snapdragon 695 chipset and a 108MP camera. The Redmi Note 11E is, however, a completely new phone in this series.
The Redmi Note 11E comes in as the entry-level model in the Redmi Note 11 lineup in China, starting at CNY 1,199 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and CNY 1,299 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Based on the specifications revealed, the Redmi Note 11E could end up to be a Redmi 11 in global markets, including India. Note that this is a 5G smartphone, unlike the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S in India.
The Redmi Note 11E looks completely different from the existing Redmi Note 11 series designs. The phone resembles the Oppo Reno 7 and Realme 9 Pro.
The front is dominated by a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz that uses an IPS LCD panel. This one also has a display notch on the top for the front camera. The phone is using last year’s MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and comes with 128GB of storage as standard. It boots MIUI 13 out of the box.
For its cameras, the Redmi Note 11E like all other budget phones these days gets a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. The front camera also uses a 5MP image sensor. The phone features a 5000mAh battery and Redmi doesn’t reveal what kind of charging
