Call of Duty: Warzone’s prestige system is shared across all the modern titles, allowing gamers to level up regardless of the game that they are choosing to play. While this sounds excellent on paper, there are downsides to the format, such as the segmented prestiging caused by the seasonal style. Every season, players will get access to three or four prestiges, with gamers needing to play constantly to prestige. With no endgame in sight, many fans miss the old style of a final level to grind toward.

According to the streamer, “there’s no reason to want to level up” since prestiges keep coming and there is no end goal to reach, with gamers needing to wait for a new Season to start before they can keep leveling up.
