Ubisoft has finally announced what times Rainbow Six Extraction will launch on consoles and PC as well as the pre-load times for anyone looking to play the game as soon as it launches. The game has been highly anticipated ever since it was revealed back in 2019 and has gone through several design changes since then. With the announcement that Extraction will be launching day one for free on Xbox Game Pass for subscribers, it's looking like it could be one of the biggest launches for a Tom Clancy title yet.
According to the official Ubisoft website, Rainbow Six Extraction will be launching at 12 a.m. local time on January 20, 2022, for consoles and PC. The only exception to this is for those in select timezones playing the game on the Amazon Luna which will see it go live on January 19 at 9 p.m. PT / January 20 at 12 a.m. ET.

In terms of pre-loading, anyone who's purchased Rainbow Six Extraction on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S is able to pre-load the game now. Because of the streaming-based nature of Google Stadia and Amazon Luna, neither platform requires a download meaning that players won't be able to pre-load the game, but there's no need because of the fact that with streaming, downloads aren't necessary.
As is the case with all game releases now, there’s likely going to be some sort of fluctuation with those times in the scale of a few minutes, but Ubisoft has a good track record of sticking closely to the times that it announces for its game releases. With a title as hotly anticipated as Rainbow Six Extraction, it would be surprising if the launch times listed were to be delayed in any way.
