French development studio Quantic Dream has become associated with narrative-driven titles with a unique style of gameplay ever since the release of its first major success Fahrenheit, or Indigo Prophecy in North America. Since then, Quantic Dream has released three more major titles with Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human. All three proved to be popular games, with Detroit: Become Human recently receiving a manga spin-off in Japan. With it being four years since Detroit: Become Human launched, many gamers are wondering what the studio has planned for its next release.
Fans may not have to wait too long to see what Quantic Dream has up its sleeve next because, according to reliable video game leaker Tom Henderson, the developer has a new title lined up for a reveal at Gamescom. According to Henderson, who was writing for TryHardGuides, the title will be shown at a small, behind-the-scenes presentation at this year's Gamescom. It is currently unknown whether it will feature on the main stage or be a part of Geoff Keighley's Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live stream.
Star Wars: Eclipse Dev Responds to Delay Rumors
It is also unknown what Quantic Dream will be showing off at Gamescom. While many would expect the studio to give more information on its major Star Wars: Eclipse project, there are a couple of other titles it could be preparing for a reveal. According to Henderson, Quantic Dream is currently working on two games in addition to Star Wars: Eclipse, with one of these titles being a mobile release and the other reportedly a medieval fantasy humor game.
