The Punisher's latest confrontation with an old villain has him reference one of his best and most creative kills he's ever pulled off. As the High Slayer for the criminal organization known as the Hand, Frank Castle's war on crime has elevated with better resources and tools than ever which Frank uses to take on anyone from criminals to untouchable offenders across the world. While pursuing the infamous criminal known as Hate-Monger, whom Frank has a personal history with, Frank's choice of death for the charismatic leader is a callback to his original use of similar methods in 2000's Welcome Back Frank storyline.
Frank's pursuit of the Hate-Monger leaves his usual trail of destruction and bodies in its wake but he cleverly uses a sole survivor to help track down the villain's exact whereabouts in a small town in Alaska. While the man once known as Finn Fatz recalls how he barely yet cleverly escaped Frank's cluthes almost a decade ago, the Punisher and loyal Hand soldiers attempt to storm his base. While their efforts include trying to keep innocent civilian casualties low while facing heavy gunfire, chemical warfare and avoiding bloodthirsty polar bears, Frank proves that his ability to survive despite impossible odds remains intact despite his current allegiances.
