Busted out the ps3 today, it's a backwards compatible one, and for some reason it will read ps2 games just fine however it won't read any ps3 games. Disc will go in and can hear it spinning but will not read it. Any advice?

The PS3 has a dual laser system. Sounds like your Bluray laser died.
