Hitman developer IO Interactive has been tagged to create the next official James Bond video game, which is currently being referred to as simply Project 007. It's been almost a decade since the last piece of James Bond gaming content saw a release, and fans of the iconic film franchise have been waiting anxiously to see what this generation-spanning franchise can do on modern hardware. While the wait has been long and is still ongoing, Project 007 has the advantage of being a fresh start for the franchise, as it doesn't appear that it will be based on strictly one film, or even one Bond. That said, there are still a number of staples from the films that the game can borrow and reincorporate.
