The expansion of the dark twisted melodramatic world of Pretty Little Liars continues in the newest spin-off series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
HBO Max's newestPretty Little Liarsspin-off series is written and executive produced by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, perhaps best known for his work on The CW's Riverdale. Original Sin is set to star Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Mallory Bechtel, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco as the next generation of Pretty Little Liars.

The Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin teaser trailer depicts a hooded figure as they destroy photos of the liars, while an eerie piano version of the original Pretty Little Liars theme song plays on a loop in the background. “Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a disparate group of teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago as well as their own," reads the official synopsis. «In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.”
This is a similar premise to the original Pretty Little Liars show and the book series of the same name that it's based on, written by author Sara Shepard.
