A Predator alien hunts Ewoks in a fun new Star Wars crossover video edit. The newly-released Hulu movie Prey represents the latest attempt to reboot the long-running Predator franchise. In this new twist on the classic formula, a Predator alien arrives in pre-Colonial America to encounter both indigenous warriors and European invaders.
Audiences of course first encountered the Predator themselves way back in 1987 when Arnold Schwarzenegger and his group of mercenaries stumbled upon the fearsome alien hunter in the jungles of Central America. The Predator then took to the streets of L.A. for Predator 2, and later returned in more sequels including 2018’s The Predator. Of course there were also a pair of crossover movies that pitted the Predator against another classic movie monster of non-Earthly origin, the Xenomorphs of the Alien franchise.

Those two Alien Vs. Predator movies unfortunately are not the most beloved entries in either of those venerable film franchises. But perhaps filmmakers could have better luck mashing Predator up with another historic movie series, namely Star Wars. Indeed that’s just what happens in a new fan video edit posted by Matthew Highton, in which the Predator hunts down the infamous Ewoks of Return of the Jedi fame.
