Screenshots from a potential new Fire Emblem game leaked the other day, but fans are praying they're fake. The last entry into the main Fire Emblem series was Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which came out in 2019. A spin-off from Three Houses, called Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, will be released later this month, on June 24th.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses was the first game in the series released on a home console since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii back in 2007. The game was met with success, getting praise from critics for its compelling narrative and characters. As characters have always been one of the most critical components for making a successful Fire Emblem game, the latest entries of the series have taken particular care to ensure the cast is impactful both narratively and visually. This is one of several reasons why fans are suspicious of this leak.

The leak claims the game has been complete for over a year, but looking at the graphics suggests otherwise.
