It's almost unbelievable how fast the fuse on Halo Infinite has fizzled out. What was among last year's top-three in a lot of players' Game of the Year Lists, now sits at 144th in terms of 24 hour peak concurrent players as per SteamDB – right between Russian Fishing 4 and American Truck Simulator. This is down to the fact that 343 Industries has had a hard time putting out more content for its multiplayer mode, and two of the highlight features are still not out.
Those two features being co-op campaign – which is due for a beta launch next month according to 343 – and Forge mode, which will come whenever season 3 comes. However, it appears that the devs have been making decent headway, as more leaks on the mode's gameplay and creation tools have started emerging.

In March, we reported on a leak revealing that you could build the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2 via the Forge mode tools. More recent leaks, spotted by VGC, reveal that players will be able to use the scripting in Forge mode to apply one weapon's properties onto another. This means you'll be able to make your Plasma Pistol fire Disruptor ammo, make the Heatwave fire Hydra ammo, and whatever other combos you can dream of.
However, the leaks we saw in March, and the ones now, both only focus on weapon scripting, so we don't really have an idea about how far along the rest of the aspects of Forge mode have come. Considering that it's supposed to launch at some point this year, you'd assume that 343 would want to give an official update on it to ensure that the few still playing the game don't drop it too.
