Imane 'Pokimane' Anys, a popular Twitch personality, recently faced confusion and frustration when Instagram removed one of her posts for allegedly promoting sexual activity. In recent years, social media platforms have faced increasing pressure to crack down on sexual content, especially given the rise of online sexual harassment and exploitation. Instagram is among the platforms that have taken the lead in this area, introducing a range of measures to limit the spread of sexually explicit content.

Pokimane has been one of the most prominent Twitch streamers for many years, delighting her viewers with games such as Valorant and Overwatch. While some of her fans may have been hoping for more sexually suggestive content from her, Pokimane has made it clear that it’s not something she is interested in doing.
