A datamine of s newest update has revealed the next launch dates for the game's next two card sets. This week marked the launch of the game's first full expansion. With over 200 cards in the set, opening card packs and determining the strongest decks should keep players busy for a few weeks. However, a recent datamine of the game's latest update offers a glimpse into the future.
As broken down by Pokémon Zone, the datamine indicates that the next mini-set, codenamed «A2a,» will be released on February 28. This mini-set should be an equivalent to Mythical Island, although we don't know if it will be larger or smaller than the previous mini-set. Meanwhile, the next full set, codenamed «A3,» will be released on April 30. As with all datamines, players should take these dates with a grain of salt until they are officially released.
The alleged timing of the two new sets gives players a bit of insight into 's future plans. The first is that appears to be sticking to the cadence of four major set releases per year, with one release every three months.
