Pokemon Squishmallows are not only the hit toy of this upcoming festive period, they've been the most sought-after toy of 2023 as a whole. Almost every time one of the six designs available so far pops up somewhere, it sells out almost immediately. Especially the Gengar one which continues to elude me. That collection of six Squishmallows has now finally become eight as the Clefairy and Teddiursa additions revealed months ago are finally available.
Pokemon confirmed at the end of August that Clefairy and Teddiursa would be the next 'mons turned into Squishmallows, and there has been radio silence on that front ever since. Just the odd restock of Snorlax and Togepi and no updates whatsoever on the Squishmallows they had previously shown off. In typical Pokemon fashion, both Teddiursa and Clefairy have been made available through the Pokemon Center out of nowhere, and if you found this article fast enough, you can buy your own through the links below.
Squishmallows come in a variety of different sizes, but in keeping with Pokemon Squishmallow tradition, the 12-inch versions of Clefairy and Teddiursa are the ones available right now. The 12-inch versions will likely be Pokemon Center exclusives with other sizes, both bigger and smaller, coming to other retailers at a later date.
Pokemon's Squishmallow family has grown via the addition of Teddiursa. The teddy bear Pokemon appears over the moon to have been selected for Squishmallow duty.
