Pokemon Legends Players Can Catch Arceus In Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl Tomorrow
Arceus and Darkrai and both coming to Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The god of all Pokemon and the lord of nightmares will arrive in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl after update version 1.3.0 releases on March 15 at 6 PM PT.
But of course, capturing Arceus and Darkrai isn’t going to be as easy as wandering around in the tall grass and throwing Poke Balls until they stop shaking. To get either Pokemon, you’ll first have to have beaten either Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl by obtaining the National Pokedex and having your name in The Hall of Fame. To get Arceus, you’ll also need to have a Pokemon Legends: Arceus save file on your Switch and all main missions completed.

If those conditions are met, you can travel back to your room in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl to obtain the Azure Flute. Once you’ve grabbed the flute, head to Spear Pillar at the top of Mount Coronet to encounter Arceus. Be sure to have plenty of Ultra Balls for this encounter.
As for Darkrai, be sure to have completed Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl with your name in The Hall of Fame and the National ‘Dex obtained. Then go to Newmoon Island to encounter Darkrai. Again, be sure to come prepared as Darkrai isn’t likely to go down without a fight.
And keep in mind that you won’t be able to get either of these Pokemon until you’ve updated to the latest version after 6 PM PT (9 PM ET), so be sure to have automatic updates turned on!
