One of these regional versions is Hisuian Qwilfish, a new take on the classic Johto pokemon. Sporting a Dark/Poison type and a new move called Barb Barrage, this fish will be a powerful addition to your team, and the major difference from its classic counterpart comes in the form of a new evolution called Overqwil. To obtain a Hisuian Qwilfish, you must first unlock Basculegion as a ride pokemon, which will enable you to travel by water bodies, thus allowing you to catch pokemon while doing so. This particular version of Qwilfish will hang around the following places:
Keep in mind that Qwilfish will be swimming around and catching pokemon on the water is a bit more difficult, so bring enough Poke Balls and be overall prepared.
To successfully evolve this Hisuian pokemon to Qwillshot you must unlock the new move Barb Barrage at level 15, then level up until Qwilfish masters it, and use it in battle 20 times in Strong Style. If done correctly, after you finish this process you should unlock the ability to evolve Qwilfish into its new evolution form, Qwilshot.
