Apple’s much awaited Spring event is likely to be held on March 8, 2022. Though the tech giant hasn’t confirmed the details yet, it is expected to launch the iPhone SE 2020 successor, the iPhone SE 3 2022 at the event. Not only this, but the company is expected to launch an array of products including a refreshed iPad Air and possibly a new Mac Mini with Apple's new silicon chipset. Though there is massive hype around the iPhone SE 3, nothing has been revealed by Apple itself. In fact, even the name is still a secret as Apple has not said anything officially. Some reports are even suggesting that it could be called iPhone SE+. Since there is no official response, iPhone SE 3 is what everyone is calling it.
The iPhone SE 3 is speculated to come with an old-school design similar to that of iPhone SE 2020, which itself was based on the iPhone 8. However, it is said to come with improved cameras and a 5G chipset- the one which was used in last year's iPhone 13 models. The iPhone SE 3 is tipped to have a physical home button with Touch ID, thick bezels on the top and bottom, a very compact screen and a single camera at the back.
Additionally, iPhone SE 3 is likely to come with a 4.7-inch LCD display, and Apple's latest 5nm A15 Bionic 5G processor. Moreover, it is said to have an external X60M 5G baseband chip that will give an improved photography experience.
iPhone SE 3 price in India is likely to be in the range of around Rs. 30,000. This also means that the older iPhone SE 2020 is likely to get a massive price cut. An analyst John Donovan has asserted that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 could be priced at $300, i.e, around Rs. 22,604 in India. However, it is expected to cost more than Rs. 30,000 after including custom duty and GST
