Rather than defeating gym leaders to earn badges, Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will need to calm five Noble Pokemon by repeatedly hitting them with special balms. The third of these Pokemon Nobles that players square off against is a Hisuian Arcanine, who they'll eventually encounter in the Molten Arena area of the Cobalt Coastlands.

Before Pokemon Legends: Arceus players can reach the arena, however, they'll first need to befriend Basculegion, a new Basculin evolution that's able to carry people across water. This will allow them to travel to Firespit Island, where they'll then need to defeat the Miss Fortune sisters in battle before the fight with Arcanine can finally get underway.
One of the first things that players will notice once the fight with the Lord of the Isles gets started is that the arena here is a lot more restrictive than the ones used for previous Noble battles. That said, there should still be more than enough room to successfully dodge Arcanine's attacks, of which there are three that players will need to be aware of.
The first and most common attack used by the Level 36 Lord is a dash from one side of the arena to the other. Much like the earlier battle with Kleavor, players will know when Arcanine is about to charge forward as there'll be an audio cue and its eyes will light up momentarily. Just like last time, they should dodge either left or right using the Y button when this happens and then start throwing balms right away.
